VÄLLINGBY, Sweden, May 19, 2011 — Latab has presented a new ringlight that can easily be fitted directly to the lens filter thread using a lens adapter. This avoids the light head having to be mounted individually, while retaining optimal positioning relative to the object. Various adapters allow it to be fitted to all lenses with a thread of a diameter of 30 mm or less.
The outer diameter of the ringlight is 44 mm. It can be used as a permanent light or as a stroboscope with a proprietary controller. It can be controlled manually using analog control signals, RS-232 or Ethernet. It also can be controlled using controllers made by other suppliers.
The ringlight is available in red, white, green, blue, ultraviolet and infrared.
