Latab offers a ringlight that can be fitted directly to the lens filter thread using an adapter. This feature avoids having to mount the light head individually while retaining optimal positioning relative to the object. Various adapters allow it to be fitted to all lenses having a thread with a diameter of 30 mm or less. The outer diameter of the ringlight is 44 mm. It can be used as a permanent light or, with the use of a proprietary controller, a stroboscope. It can be controlled manually using analog control signals, RS-232 or Ethernet, or using controllers made by other suppliers. The device is available in red, white, green, blue, ultraviolet and infrared.
