WEINGARTEN, Germany, Aug. 6, 2015 — Opsira GmbH has announced the robogonio, a robot-driven, multifunction goniometer that incorporates six-axis measurement of angular-dependent photometric and radiometric parameters.

The industrial robot provides flexibility in the positioning of light samples for measurements of light sources and luminaires. With a variety of mechanical variances and the ability to manipulate measurement angles, the robogonio can scan virtually any geometry in the traditional A, B or C planes through one measurement system.

The device has both near-field and far-field capabilities.
