ASSLAR, Germany, June 14, 2022 — Root PumpsThe OktaLine® ATEX series of explosion-proof roots pumps from Pfeiffer Vacuum GmbH can be used for processes in potentially explosive environments or evacuating explosive gases.

The series is certified for low and medium vacuum applications with a pressure surge resistance of PN 16. Pumping speeds range from 280 to 8100 m3/h. Depending on the application, there is a choice between equipment category 2G or 3G.

Potential applications range from the chemical, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries to industrial applications such as vacuum furnaces or heat treatment.
