TRING, England, April 4, 2014 — Specialized Imaging’s SIL2 range of imaging intensifiers houses fast relay lenses to enable interfacing to almost any high-speed camera or video system.

Improving the sensitivity, gating time and spectral response of both high-speed video cameras and ultrahigh-speed framing cameras, the devices provide a wide range of gain and resolution options for low-light imaging applications. Fast framing rates and short exposure times allow investigation of rapidly evolving light processes.

SIL2 intensifiers can be fitted with different types of photocathodes and input windows, capturing events that emit radiation at shorter wavelengths of the UV region through the near-infrared.
