Available in lengths of 10, 14 and 17 in., the Hawkeye Pro SuperSlim borescopes from Gradient Lens Corp. are suitable for inspecting deep narrow bores in machined parts, fuel and hydraulic systems, castings, tubing and firearms. With an outside diameter of 2.8 mm, they enable inspection of bores as small as 1/8 in. The company’s endoGrins lens system enables them to relay images at a long distance while maintaining image quality. Surface finishes and defects such as burrs in deep bores and cross holes can be seen clearly. The instruments feature a 0° direction of view and a 40° field of view. A rotating 90° direction of view is possible with a mirror tube attachment.
