Spectronics Corp. is offering the Spectroline AP-800 UltraWand UV inspection lamp, which provides long-wave UV illumination in hard-to-reach places. Featuring an 8-W UV tube, the lamp delivers a steady-state UV irradiance of 4800 µW/cm2 at 1 in. The instrument can be used alone or in conjunction with a rigid or flexible articulated borescope, and is housed in a rugged, anodized aluminum cylinder. The UltraWand is 1 in. in diameter, has a 30-in. reach and uses 115- or 230-VAC power.
