Sensitivity is ≥400,000 cps for the water-Raman peak at 397 nm, and the signal-to-noise ratio is 3000:1, minimum. FluorEssence software for Windows is included, and accessories such as automatic polarizers, a stopped-flow device for kinetics, a microwell-plate reader, an autotitrator, temperature baths and Peltier cooling are offered. The system uses an ozone-free xenon arc lamp for broadband coverage from the UV to the near-IR. Applications include basic research, analytic measurements and quality control.
