Optometrics LLC offers a modular recording spectrophotometer for education and research. The RS system is suitable for spectrophotometric transmission, absorbance, reflectance and fixed-wavelength measurements in the VIS to NIR (375 to 1700 nm). Features include a large sample chamber and WinRS software, which provides a quick read mode; a wavelength scanning mode; a time-base reading mode, to monitor chemical reagents against time; and a concentration mode, for direct reading of sample concentration using a standard curve or calculation factor. The software stores data and instrument parameter setups and prints reports in graphical and tabular formats.
