Analytical Spectral Devices Inc. has added the FieldSpec Pro Hi-Res to its line of spectroradiometers. It offers spectral resolution of 6 nm in the 1000- to 2500-nm range and can collect a full spectrum scan in 50 ms. The portable device is operated by RS3 data acquisition and analysis software for remote sensing and is suitable for applications that require a halogen light source, such as mining, forestry and plant physiology.
