SPH Series Slimline Optical Post Holders

Newport Corp.’s new slim optical post holders take up 25 percent less space on optical tables and breadboards than other standard holders.

The knobless hex key post clamp on the SPH series does not protrude beyond the outer diameter of the post holder, maintaining small-space parameters and serving as a deterrent against tampering. Available in five different heights, the holders are compatible with all ½-in. standard posts; they also offer optional open slotted bases in two thicknesses for versatile positioning possibilities.

“The new series of slim optical post holders is a valuable addition to Newport’s extensive portfolio of optomechanical components,” said Newport Senior Manager of Product Marketing, Rick Sebastian. “With its highly economic, space-saving design, the SPH series provides exceptional value with the added benefit of a 25 percent smaller footprint.”
