Dymax Corp. has released a high-power spot lamp for bonding applications. The BlueWave 75 transmits less energy onto the substrates, producing cooler cures. The RoHS-compliant UV curing spot lamp is CE-marked. An adjustment feature provides user control of light intensity for process validation and control. The lamp emits from 300 to 450 nm and cures UV-curable and visible light-curable adhesives, coatings and encapsulants. Typical bulb life is more than 2000 h, and bulb replacement is fast.
