Renishaw Inc.'s laser steering optic is designed to help users speed up linear, angular and straightness measurements for calibration of machine tools and coordinate measurement machines. The LS350 steers the laser beam for adjustment in both vertical and horizontal planes by sliding control levers. It provides beam sweep of 635 mm/m in both planes for axes up to 200 in. long. Especially for use with the company's ML10 laser measurement system, the device also can be used as an accessory to older systems.
