Sensors Unlimited 320CSXA new compact, rugged shortwave-infrared (SWIR) camera from Sensors Unlimited Inc. is suited for use in industrial systems for process monitoring, enhanced vision and persistent surveillance.

The latest in its line of MicroSWIR video cameras, the 320CSX uses less than 2 W of power at 20 °C, operates from –5 to 60 °C case temperatures and provides a range of features to optimize imagery in a variety of lighting conditions.

The InGaAs camera features ¼ VGA resolution (320 × 256 pixels, 12.5-μm pixel pitch) and an industry-standard C-mount lens interface, allowing customers to select from a range of commercial off-the-shelf lenses.

Currently the system offers output through RS170 analog video or Camera Link digital video, as well as RS232 command and control, but may be expanded to offer other industry standard interfaces.
