Xenics NV has announced the Bobcat-320, a small, high-performance SWIR camera.

Xenics' Bobcat-320The Bobcat-320 targets cost-sensitive volume markets such as laser beam analysis applications, the sorting and recycling industry, and defect investigations for silicon semiconductor material. A thermoelectric cooler ensures low noise and dark current characteristics.

The SWIR camera comes with a CameraLink or GigE Vision interface and low weight and power consumption. Both 100- and 400-Hz models are available.

Applications include food inspection, laser beam profiling, quality control, semiconductor inspection, thermal imaging and waste sorting.
