MONMOUTH JUNCTION, N.J., Feb. 4, 2020 — SWIR CameraThe MVCam series of SWIR and VIS cameras from Princeton Infrared Technologies Inc. support high frame rates without ITAR restrictions.

The InGaAs camera provides 1280 × 1024 resolution SWIR imagery at up to 95 fps, with higher frame rates available for user-selectable regions of interest. At a 12-µm pixel pitch, the MVCam’s image sensor yields extremely low dark current and high quantum efficiency, providing sensitivity from 0.4 to 1.7 µm. The standard camera configuration uses a single-stage thermoelectric cooler without moving parts, integrated in a sealed package to stabilize the image sensor at 20 °C.

The PIRT1280A1-12 advanced digital array generates 14-bit digital image data without image lag and read noise of <45 e-. The camera is ideal for high-resolution machine vision and microscopy applications.
