The Phoenix SWIR camera from Attollo Engineering is a 640 × 512 device with a VGA sensor and a 5-µm pixel pitch.
The cost-efficient, uncooled, miniature InGaAs SWIR camera features a spectral response ranging from 1 to 1.65 µm with >99.5% operability and >70% quantum efficiency. Selectable frame rates include 30, 60, 120, and 220 Hz, with windowing available. The Phoenix has a global shutter imaging mode, presets, and a user-defined integration time of 0.1 µs, plus triggering options of sync-in and sync-out. Other specifications include onboard processing with non-uniformity corrections and bad pixel replacement.
The device is ideal for integration into small gimbals and other low size, weight, and power devices such as handheld, helmet- and soldier-mounted systems. Its sensor is ideally suited for broadband imaging as well as daylight and nighttime laser see-spot and range-gated imaging. Other applications include machine vision, precision agriculture, driver vision enhancement, covert illuminated imaging, and laser designator imaging and decode.
