SWIR CameraThe pco.pixelfly™ 1.3 SWIR camera from Excelitas Technologies Corp. is a high-performance machine vision camera with an InGaAs image sensor.

With a sensor that is IMX990-sensitive in the SWIR, NIR, and visible ranges of the electromagnetic spectrum, the system shows high sensitivity with 5 × 5-µm pixels enabling the use of small magnification optics in microscopy. It works with long exposure times due to a low dark current and quantum efficiency of >90%. Applications include waste sorting, smart farming, food processing, quality control, pharmaceuticals, packaging industries, life sciences, medicine, and more.
