SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 24, 2015 — BaySpec SuperGamut SWIR imaging spectrographA new version of the SuperGamut spectrometer from BaySpec Inc. is designed for shortwave-infrared imaging and remote sensing applications.

As an optical engine for hyperspectral imaging or imaging spectroscopy, it produces high-resolution spectral information in the 900- to 1700-nm wavelength range and can be customized for specific applications using the company's VPG series of transmission gratings

Applications include precision agriculture, hazardous materials detection, environmental law enforcement, weather, geological surveys and scientific field research.
