SWIR DetectorsThe Snake SW Tecless high-resolution shortwave IR (SWIR) detector from Sofradir is designed for use in high-volume industrial, scientific and surveillance applications such as inspection, sorting, thermography or security monitoring tasks.

Offering 300 fps and a leading signal-to-noise ratio, the detector does not feature a cooler. The design provides a solutions for system developers seeking to identify defects or perform analysis of raw materials, among other vision tasks going beyond the capabilities of visible cameras and aiming at increasing manufacturing yields.

Its compactness is ideal for in-line inspection and sorting, notably machine vision for semiconductors and agricultural, pharmaceutical or chemical products; thermography, including hot process control in glass and metal industries; addressing size, weight, power consumption and cost reduction needs in surveillance applications such as traffic monitoring and transport security.
