Sample Illumination Light SourceThe ILM-660 light source from Spectral Evolution Inc. provides maximum sample illumination.

The ILM-660 light source provides maximum illumination for samples. This 100-W tungsten halogen source is ideal for use with dark sample minerals when used with the companion SR-6500 field spectrometer and EZ-ID mineral identification software. The SR-6500 offers ultra-high-resolution scanning of samples and is ideal for analyzing minerals in conjunction with AVIRIS NG satellite data.

The ILM-660 includes a removable sapphire window and a glass Petri dish for holding chips or powders. The ILM-660 attaches to spectrometers and spectroradiometers using a quick release fiber mount connection.
