From Applied Scientific Instrumentation (ASI) Inc., the PhotoTrack system, when it is combined with the company’s closed-loop DC servomotor X-Y stages, enables users to follow free-moving samples. Using a low-light position-sensing photomultiplier tube sensor, the system monitors a labeled spot on the specimen and automatically adjusts to keep it in the center of the microscope’s field of view.
