WESSLING, Germany, Nov. 29, 2021 — Scan Field CalibratorThe SFC-600 Scan Field Calibrator from Raylase GmbH provides high-precision, labor-saving machine calibration of laser process fields for large components in additive manufacturing and electromobility.

The scan field is automatically measured and digitally corrected. Scan fields of up to 600 × 600 mm² can be calibrated. Multi-fields such as overlapping scan fields are automatically aligned with each other, and the calibration plates can be clearly assigned by means of QR codes. Accuracy is ± 4 μm with a standard deviation of 2 μm, achieving an average process field correction accuracy of ± 15 μm. What previously took 2 to 3 hours can now be done in 12 min./machine, free of errors, and with high precision.
