The scan head’s electronics provide comprehensive diagnostic and communication functionality. High-performance dynAXIS 3 galvanometer scanners ensure reduced long-term and temperature drifts.
One application is high-precision 3-D printing of molds, where the laser must repeatedly rescan the tiniest structures, sometimes for hours at a time, since a low-drift scan system is crucial for laser cutting with large image fields and high power densities.
