Carl-Zeiss.jpgThe LSM 710 from Carl Zeiss MicroImaging GmbH is a laser scanning microscope designed for fluorescent biological samples. The device features a spectral detector with two, three or 34 channels and offers resolution up to 3 nm. A spectral recycling loop increases the efficiency of the spectral splitting of fluorescence light emitted by the sample to ∼100%. Other features include 360° of scan rotation and a scan field of 20 mm. It can zoom from 0.6 to 40× in steps of 0.1×.
