Scientific CameraOperating in the visible and shortwave-infrared (SWIR) range, the 1280SCICAM from Princeton Infrared Technologies Inc. is designed for scientific imaging.

A pixel pitch of 12 μm allows it to be used for high-speed machine vision and long-range surveillance operations.

The camera's lattice-matched InGaAs sensor features 1280 × 1024 resolution at frame rates of >95 fps at full-frame size.

It features read noise <30 e and imaging array quantum efficiency >75 percent from 1.0 to 1.6 μm. Its dynamic range ratio is >3000:1, with integration times ranging from 50 ms to >3 minutes.

A thermoelectric cooler is integrated into a vacuum package to provide three temperature setpoints for different conditions.
