LambdaTune 25G from Vitex is a self-tuning DWDM SFP28 family comprising two models: the LambdaTune 25G DWDM LR15 (LR15) and the LambdaTune 25G DWDM ER30 (ER30). The LR15 supports distances up to 15 km on G.652 single-mode fiber and features an electro-absorption modulated laser (EML), a limiting avalanche photodiode (APD), and low power consumption. The ER30 supports transmission distances of up to 30 km with built-in electronic dispersion compensation and features an EML and a linear APD for high sensitivity and excellent dispersion tolerance. LambdaTune targets access and metro aggregation networks, including cable and multiple system operator distributed access architecture and data over cable service interface specifications backhaul, 5G fronthaul and midhaul connections, broadcast video over Internet Protocol contribution and inter-site links, and satellite gateway connectivity.
