YOKNEAM, Israel, March 5, 2014 — Senso Optics has introduced SensoDrive and SensoDrive-P, panoramic night-driving systems for vehicles, armored personnel carriers (APCs) and tanks used in military operations.

SensoDrive, a thermal imaging uncooled camera mounted on top of a vehicle, enables driving in complete darkness, including through fog, smoke or dust. It provides a clear picture within a few seconds from power-up. SensoDrive-P is a periscopic thermal driver vision system for under-armor driving capability.

A rugged display screen provides vision in both day and night operations. The systems are effective for border control units, mobile special operations forces, airport security and strategic infrastructure monitoring vehicles.
