Pepperl+Fuchs has introduced Series IO Ultrasonic Sensors, a line of IO-Link compatible sensors with pushbutton programming for on-site parameterization.

IO-Link and Pactware software can be used for expanded access while a PC or IO-Link controller can modify and monitor sensor parameters in challenging environments. IO-Link enables intelligent sensing without being tied to a proprietary system.

Series IO sensors are available in switch point and analog versions with 500 mm or 2, 4 or 6 m sensing ranges. All units are 30 mm x 93 mm with UL, CSA and CCC approval and sealed IP67-rated housing.
