MUNICH, April 29, 2020 — Signal and Spectrum AnalyzerThe FSW high-end signal and spectrum analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG is equipped with an FSW-B8001 option, supporting an 8.3-GHz internal analysis bandwidth.

In the setup, a wideband-baseband signal is up-converted to the selected 140-GHz frequency via a TC RSE converter box. The SMA100B analog signal generator provides the local oscillator frequency to the up-converter. The transmission is carried out over the air with the converter connected to a horn antenna. The transmitted signal is received via another horn antenna and down-converted. The FSW analyzes the signal, carrying out signal quality measurements such as error vector magnitude to assess the performance of the transmission.

The four-channel NGP800 power supply plays a vital role in powering various parts and components.
