Silicon Photonics PlatformThe Odin silicon photonics platform from Ranovus Inc. is a multi-terabit technology designed to handle massive growth in data traffic and communications.

Odinscales the company’s 100-Gbps/λ silicon photonics engine from 800 Gbps to 3.2 Tbps in a single chip, supporting both module and co-packaged optics solutions. The platform incorporates a multi-wavelength quantum dot laser, 100-Gbps silicon photonics-based micro ring resonator modulators and photodetectors, a 100-Gbps driver, a 100-Gbps transimpedance amplifier, and control integrated circuits supported by a Tier 1 packaging ecosystem.

Applications include data center use for artificial intelligence, machine learning and 5G communications.
