Profile Rail Linear Guide StagesOptimal Engineering Systems Inc. has added five profile single-axis positioning stages to their AQ150 Series of linear stages.

Available in off-the-shelf travel lengths of 600, 700, 800, 900, and 1000 mm, the stages are low-profile, aluminum, and black anodized to handle loads to 50 kg. They are available in XY or XYZ configurations. Two-phase stepper-motor-driven models feature a resolution of 2.1 μm. For closed-loop operation, high precision, higher travel speeds, and greater throughput, the stepper motors are replaced with three-phase brushless servo motors and quadrature encoders.

Easily integrated into new and existing systems, the stages are available as complete plug-and-play systems including a single- or multiaxis controller.
