SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Sept. 30, 2021 — Single-axis Linear Stepper StagesThe LSS-031-04-011-MEA series of single-axis linear stepper stages from H2W Technologies Inc. integrates a linear encoder to operate the motor as a two-phase brushless system when coupled with an advanced motion control electronics package.

The STS-1220-AP3 motor powers the stage and generates a force of 11.0 lbs with a total stroke length of 31 in. Integrated air bearings maintain the required motor air gap. The 1-μm resolution encoder works with the control package, generating higher speeds and allowing for precise positioning.
