SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Feb. 2, 2021 — Single-rail Positioning StageThe SRS-006-06-050-01-EX single-rail positioning stage from H2W Technologies Inc. is designed for high-speed closed-loop positioning applications that require both short and long travel distances.

The stage uses a brushless linear motor to generate a continuous and peak force of 50 and 150 lbs respectively with a total stroke length of 5.75 in. The noncontact 1-μm resolution encoder allows for precise position control and is guided by a pair of recirculating ball linear bearings on a precision linear bearing rail. Single extrusion lengths of up to 6 m allow for long strokes.

The entire stage is assembled on a single piece of aluminum extrusion, reducing the overall weight of the system.
