Single Photon Counting ModuleAurea Technology has announced the SPD-OEM-NIR single photon counting module, based on a Geiger-mode single-photon avalanche diode.

The device performs asynchronous and synchronous, 900 to 1700-nm photon detection with an ultralow-noise distributed coupled resonator of <1 cps and high photon detection efficiency of 30 percent. A trigger rate up to 120 MHz is featured with a timing resolution of <150 ps.

An easy-to-use graphical user interface and DLL libraries for LabVIEW and C++ are provided.
