AUBURN, Mass., Nov. 29, 2021 — Six-axis Hexapod Robotic StageThe H-811 vacuum-compatible miniature six-axis hexapod robotic stage from Physik Instrumente LP provides high-performance and high-accuracy motion in a small package.

With a load capacity of 5 kg, linear travel ranges up to 34 mm, and rotary ranges up to 42°, the hexapod provides high resolution and repeatability of ±0.06 µm. Hexapod multiaxis stages are used in active optical alignment and photonics applications due to their fast response and versatility. A programmable center of rotation allows users to adapt the motion system to any alignment application quickly without retooling. Applications range from silicon photonics alignment to medical treatment and antenna feeds for astronomical telescopes.
