The Prior Scientific Inc. PL-200 high-speed automated slide loading system was designed for a variety of high-throughput microscopy applications and is compatible with a range of microscopes. The device features a rotating arm combined with a multisensory-based gripper system to interface with the company’s ProScan II series motorized stages for a safe and reliable high-speed slide transfer routine. With four removable racks, it has a 200-slide capacity. Sensors monitor when racks are removed and replaced so the device can respond intelligently. A software development kit is also available to simplify third-party integration.
