Slide ScannerThe SLIDEVIEW VS200 slide scanner from Olympus Corp. captures high-quality virtual slide images and offers flexibility to empower advanced quantitative image analysis for brain, cancer, and stem cell research, as well as drug discovery.

Users obtain flatter images with a wider field of view with no intensity fall-off near the periphery. Brightfield, fluorescence, darkfield, phase contrast, and simple polarization imaging modes are available to enable the best observation method for each application. A specially designed light path provides more homogeneous illumination. X Line objectives also improve numerical aperture, chromatic aberration correction, and flatness.

Researchers benefit from simultaneous slide scans and increased slide capacity. The system accommodates up to 35 sample trays.
