GARDEN GROVE, Calif., Aug. 10, 2016 — Micro Laser FIber CollimatorsVery small fiber collimators from blues to NIR wavelengths are now available from Micro Laser Systems Inc., for the shrinking requirements of many biomedical and sensing applications. These collimators have a 2.4-mm outer diameter and generate a 0.6-mm collimated beam from singlemode fiber with low beam divergence. The slightly larger 7.1-mm outer diameter small collimator generates a 2-mm diameter beam. 

Polarizers, focusing optics and other specialty optics can be added to the collimator. Diode lasers are also available for these collimators.
