OBERSULM, Germany, July 17, 2013 — IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH’s latest IDS Software Suite, driver version 4.30, supports all current USB 2.0 and 3.0, and GigE camera models.

Certified by the Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL), the software now offers a triggered line-scan mode for USB 3 uEye CP cameras with CMOSIS’ 4.2-megapixel sensor, enabling the use of area-scan cameras in web inspection systems.

The software can be downloaded free of charge via the following link: http://en.ids-imaging.com. A linux version will be available shortly.
