SHENZHEN, China, Nov. 24, 2022 — Solid-state Lidar SystemThe RS-LiDAR-E1 automotive-grade flash solid-state lidar system from RoboSense, or Suteng Innovation Technology Co. Ltd., features a custom chips and flash technology platform for smart driving and autonomous vehicles.

The system features area array transceiver technology with application-specific developed chips as the core. E1 is designed for large-scale series production with a simple bill of materials and no moving parts, providing detection performance, cost efficiency, and automotive-grade safety and reliability. A horizontal, 120° field of view ensures a 360° coverage area without any blind zones using minimum sensors. High frame rates of >25 Hz capture target objects’ motion states, quickly predicting moves. A detection range of 30 m at 10% enables perception planning control.
