KIRKLAND, Wash., June 17, 2012 — Orb Optronix Inc. has released its latest LED metrology software, SpectralSuite 3.0, which offers automated measurement of LEDs and LED products with either a proprietary electrical-thermal-optical system or any LED characterization system assembled from supported hardware.

It features automated pulse width modulation and trigger delay measurements when connected to a Keithley 26xx series power supply; automated single-pulse LED measurement when connected to a Keithley 24xx or 26xx series power supply; support for multiple platforms and instrument manufacturers; enhanced features for easier data analysis; improved proprietary algorithms for more precise measurements; irradiance and flux calibration using a built-in calibration wizard with autoramping and stabilization monitoring; easy-to-use automatic device detection for spectrometers manufactured by Orb Optronix, Avantes, Gamma Scientific, Ocean Optics and Labsphere; and power supplies by Keithley and Agilent.

Video tutorials are available to assist in setting up and taking measurements.

The software offers multiple data viewing modes, allowing users to load saved profiles and use existing bin sets for analysis. Advanced data analysis features provide an opportunity to view measurement results in a variety of US and International Standards.
