The NanoQuest spectral sensor from Ocean Insight Inc. is a microelectromechanical-based, Fourier-transform IR spectrometer.
Designed for the qualification and quantification of materials from 1350 to 2500 nm, NanoQuest provides extended spectral range and exceptional performance in a more compact package than traditional lab-based instrumentation. Its single-photodetector design reduces footprint and maintains low-noise, high-stability performance.
Each NanoQuest comes with an optical fiber and operating software. It can be coupled to light sources and accessories to configure systems for absorbance/transmission or reflectance measurements. Typical NanoQuest NIR applications include authentication of counterfeit products, the characterization and quantification of food, soil nutrients and industrial materials, and the compositional analysis of bodily fluids and other biological specimens.
