Andor Technology has launched the Shamrock SR-500 and SR-750 spectrographs for various spectroscopies, including Raman and fluorescence. Proprietary software enables the combining of spectra and the direct control of the camera and spectrograph, including the wavelength, calibration, gratings, shutter and filters. The SR-500 has an aperture of f/6.5, a reciprocal dispersion of 1.7 nm/mm and a wavelength resolution of 0.05 nm, whereas the SR-750 has an aperture of f/9.8, a reciprocal dispersion of 1.1 nm/mm and a wavelength resolution of 0.03 nm. Both have 0- to 1200-nm mechanical scan range and ±0.2-nm wavelength accuracy.
