IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 11, 2014 — The UV 470 spectrometer from Spectrum Scientific Inc. incorporates an aberration-corrected concave holographic grate.

The UV 470 operates in a spectral range from 190 to 850 nm with 0.07 percent stray light at 340 nm. The spectrometer is available with slit sizes of 15, 25, 50 and 100 µm and offers a signal-to-noise ratio of 1200:1.

The spectrometer is designed for OEMs and end users with application-specific needs.
