High-Brightness MonochromatorThe Model 207A high-brightness monochromator from McPherson Inc. is a 670-mm fl f/4.7 spectrometer with off-axis parabolic optics.

The off-axis parabolic mirrors provide stigmatic performance. Stigmatic monochromators provide coincident sagittal and tangential foci, perfect collimation and focusing. Polished smooth, the mirrors are suited to deep UV, visible and infrared wavelengths.

The device causes no chromatic aberrations.
