WEILHEIM-TECK, Germany, Nov. 20, 2014 — GL Optic SpectrometerThe GL Spectis 6.0 spectrometer and GL Opti Sphere 500 integrating sphere from GL Optic are designed for LED measurement in large-scale applications.

The Spectis 6.0 features a rack-mountable 2U 19-in. housing that supports measurements from the 200-nm to 1050-nm spectral range, spanning UV, VIS and NIR with a resolution of 3.5 nm. It is used for production process control in the manufacture of LED chips or lamps.

This spectrometer can be used with the Opti Sphere 500 integrating sphere, which is spectrally calibrated and features a 500-mm diameter; it measures radiant power and spectral distribution in medium-sized LED arrays. Also, a variety of photometric parameters, such as color coordinates, color temperature and CRI, can be assessed simultaneously.
