Jasco.jpgA portable Raman spectrometer system with an integrated fiber optic probe, compact diode laser, high-throughput spectrograph and CCD detector has been launched by Jasco Inc. The RMP-210 system integrates a 100-mm-focal-length holographic grating spectrometer, a 532-nm laser and the RMP-100 microprobe with a small X-Y-Z stage. The probe can be handheld or fitted into a variety of holders, including a camera tripod. The system also can be configured with a 785-nm laser for deep-red excitation. The RMP-210 system is controlled by Spectra Manager II, the company’s Windows-based cross-platform spectroscopy software package.
