DeNovix DS-11 FX+The DS-11 FX+, an all-in-one spectrophotometer and fluorometer system from DeNovix Inc., is designed for the quantification of nucleic acids and proteins over seven orders of magnitude.

The company’s SmartPath technology allows 1-μL UV-VIS quantification over a wide dynamic range. The addition of the fluorescence mode enables measurement of picogram-sized samples with increased specificity in one instrument. The third operation mode uses quartz or plastic cuvettes to perform full UV-VIS measurements for kinetics and cell quantification.

The platform provides scientists with the flexibility to use of a variety of commercially available or custom assays as needed. The instrument incorporates DeNovix EasyApps software for the quantification of DNA, ssDNA, RNA, purified proteins, labeled proteins and other spectrophotometric and fluorometric measurements.

The DS-11 FX+ also features a customized Android operating system, as well as Wi-Fi, USB and Ethernet connectivity.
