LAWRENCE, Mass., Nov. 20, 2017 — SpectroradiometerThe SR-6500 spectroradiometer from Spectral Evolution is designed for applications that require ultrahigh spectral resolution.

The device covers the UV/VIS/NIR range from 350 to 2500 nm. It features ultrahigh resolution and stable performance with three high-sensitivity, thermoelectrically cooled photodiode arrays. The SR-6500 is also calibrated to NIST-traceable radiometric calibration standards. With two rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, users can take the spectroradiometer to the field for in situ measurements.

Applications include mineral identification and analysis, soil studies, vegetation studies, materials identification, solar radiance and microbial diversity research, among others.
